Branchburg Rescue Volunteers were requested for their Heavy Rescue unit mutual aid into Bridgewater, to the scene of a serious MVA at the request of North Branch Fire near the intersection of Route 22 and Milltown Road this evening.  2 BLS and 2 ALS units from Somerset Medical Center, in place of local EMS, were operating along with North Branch and Green Knoll Fire Companies.  Due to the heavily entrapped patient in one vehicle, Heavy Rescue 7456 was requested, and responded with crew of 6.  Upon the Heavy Rescue's arrival, command advised patient was extricated, and requested they stand by until units cleared up.

Services 7457 with crew of 3, and Car 745 also responded for REHAB Support to the units operating.  Upon his arrival, EMS Branch was transferred from SMC Paramedic Buckley to EMS Chief 7450.  Units operated at scene until released by command, Chief 49.
